Welcome to Stitch in Time
At Stitch in Time we offer you the best patchwork kits, quilt patterns from Australian and American designers, and a wide variety of new and exciting fabrics, to suit all levels of patchworkers.
You will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our shop, and appreciate our dynamic and knowledgable service. We understand what customers want and offer advice and guidance to meet your lifestyle needs.

We love to help you find the perfect project, from a "shabby chic" bed quilt to a country look wallhanging, cross-stitch and embroidery, to a cute doll or raggy bear.

Highgate Shop
Stitch in Time opened at 445 Fullarton Rd, Highgate in February 2005, after spending 15 years at Naracoorte. The shop is large and airy and has brilliant natural light. We are thrilled with the lovely comments that we receive from our many customers, and you can expect to be WOWED with the large range of patchwork fabrics, quilt patterns and patchwork kits, including all the latest designs.
There is a large number of quilts on display as well as lots of quilt patterns, kits and patchwork supplies. We conduct regular classes and "Sit and Sew" days as well as inviting talented tutors to share their skills with you.

Block of the Month 2010
We are thrilled with the new Block of the Month Quilts which we will be starting in 2010.
We have a very diverse selection, so there is something for everyone, from the classic to the fun.

Remember When
We have the latest design from the ever popular Libby Richardson. A beautiful quilting and embroidery Block of the Month titled "Remember When". We have a sneak preview of the design from Libby here for you!
We are making our sample in identical/very similar fabrics to those used by Libby, they are the lovely Quilt Gate and Antique floral ranges so you can be assured that your quilt will look as close to the original as possible.

Green Farm Village
We have been a great supporter of Teddlywinks Block of the Month quilts, and are thrilled with the new design for 2010.
Titled "Green Farm Village" this quilt uses old world antique florals with delightful applique and embroidery, featuring Liz's classic bear designs. This quilt has a sentimental theme, with a church, thatched cottage and love seats. The title of the quilt comes from the name of the farm where Liz's family lived in England.
The BOM runs for 10 months, and finished size is 60" by 70." Cost to be advised.

Down in the Garden
The latest quilt from Leannes' House is a delightful Block of the Month titled "Down in the Garden"
The colours are fresh and pretty, and the stitcheries are very appealing.
We have the exact fabrics used in Leanne Beasley's quilt, which are "Grandmothers Flower Garden" and some Lecien basics, so you can be assured that it will look the same as the photograph.
Please call or email us to reigister your interest early, as this is going to be a very popular quilt and there will be a limited number of BOM available.
Our picture is a bit dark, we will try to get a better one as soon as possible.

Animal Crackers
This fun quilt from Bronwyn Hayes is perfect for our Stitch in Time mission statement of "Quilts to make you smile"!
Cute applique circus animals are scattered over the quilt, and the fabrics are in bright, fun colours and designs.

Journey of a Quilter
We have been tidying up the back room, and made some fantastic discoveries.
We have 4 complete sets of the lovely "Journey of a Quilter" block of the month designed by Leanne Beasley.
This was her second BOM that she designed, and is filled with lovely sentiments and embroidery.
We are able to send this out as a Block of the Month, actually we did it originally as 2 blocks every second month, or you can purchase the complete kit, for a special price of $275 plus postage.

This lovely applique and stitched quilt is in country pastel colours: colours and fabrics that Stitch in Time is well known
for.

We will also offer this at $60 for 2 months at a time, every second month, so the programme still takes 10 months.

Stitcheries
Our stitchery range is sure to please the beginner or experienced embroiderer.
We have lots of patterns available, including the popular Rosalie Quinlan Designs, Cinderberry Stitches, Leanne Beasley, and Ella&Skysie.
There are designs for baby quilts to be found in Natalie Bird's All Creatures book, and cot quilts and dilly bags from Ella & Skysie, needlecases from Rosalie Quinlan, and wall hangingings from Cinderberry stitches to name but a few.

Quilt Kits
Our patchwork kits cover a wide variety of quilt styles. We offer basic beginner quilt kits, cot, lap and bed size quilts, wall hangings and those projects small enough to be framed. There are projects for those who like piecing, applique and embroidery by hand or machine, in short something for every one. We have created kits from many popular designers including Libby Richardson from Art Smart, Millamac, Ella & Skysie, Calico Farm, Disa Designs, Bareroots, Art to Heart, Melly and Me and more.
